On this day, the Arc's Potentials School (a school for children with disabilities) had a day out with all children from Janae's class. All children from the school were accompanied by either a relative or a carer.

As Jane likes being outdoors, the Jones family found the purchase of this tricycle (valued for more than a thousand dollars) a useful way of having her do some sport. The tricycle's direction and break are directed from the back handle, behind the chair.

     Greenacres, Florida. United States, May, 2009. Ollie Jones prepares Janae in a device which helps her to walk and move around the house. The device picks Janae up, who is strapped in a harness, with a hydraulic cylinder and avoids her touching the ground with all her weight.

Volunteers at the school, like the one pictured here, take care of Janae whilst Ollie and Tracy help around with other church activities. Ollie is a hustler, helping people find seats when they arrive for the services and Tracy helps around with the other church school classes.

     Greenacres, Florida. United States, June, 2009. Janae Jones sleeps on Nya's (her sister) arms. Tracy Jones, Janae's mother, is seen in the background. 'Movie night' as they call it, is a night in which the Jones family would gather together and watch a film or two at the parent's room. 'Movie night' was a solution found by the Jones family to the issue of not being able to really go out to a movie theatre as Janae would not enjoy the loud noise and the big screen.
