Documentary photographer currently in Spain.
My interests are the social and familial costs of medical conditions. My first major story (Getty Grant winner 2009) was on families of people with acquired brain injuries in 3 different countries, "Stay With Me" (2008 - 2010) Later, I was invited to work for a project on the quality of life of people with Multiple Scleroris in 12 countries of the EU, "Under Pressure" (2011-2012) , in a team of five photographers. Now, I am finishing "Love, Rebekah" (2015- ) which looks at the life of Rebekah, diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder.
Stay With Me has been awarded a grant by Getty Images (2009), honourable mentions at Fotovisura Grants (2010) and International Photo Awards (2010). A small part of the work on my father also won a honourable mention at the International Photo Awards (2011). I was also part of a group of five photographers documenting the quality of life of people with Multiple Sclerosis across the EU for the Under Pressure Project (2010 -2014). I have also produced, shot and finished a feature length documentary on mental ill health, Love, Rebekah.
